3 Best Indian Restaurants in Erfurt, Germany

Hi We entered the restaurant to a very warm reception from the hosts. Hungry enough, the aromas from the kitchen only bolstered our appetites. The food was scrumptious and authentic, and we ate to our heart's content. Both, vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Light Indian music in the background kept us company. The hosts came by regularly to ensure we were enjoying our meals. Rounded off with a surprise serving that delighted us all. Restaurant India Erfurt has been a truly satisfying experience. We strongly recommend it to all.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while in Erfurt and ended up absolutely loving it. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, creating a pleasant dining experience. The Paneer Tikka in butter sauce was a standout—flavorful and perfectly cooked. You can customize the spice level to your liking, which is a great touch. The ambiance is inviting, and the dishes are both tasty and satisfying. Don't miss trying the "Old Monk" Indian rum—definitely a unique highlight!

Very delicious Indian food in cozy surroundings. Centrally located in the city. The service is extremely friendly and incredibly pleasant.

Das Restaurant war eher ein Zufallsfund. Eigentlich hätte ich bei dem Wetter gerne draußen gesessen, aber alles voll. Am Ende war es drinnen sehr angenehm. Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichlich, die Bedienung nett und flink. Und sehr aufmerksam: ich fragte meinen Mann, ob er mir beim Eis "hilft" und prompt bekam ich zu meiner Bestellung 2 Löffel :) Direkt schade, dass wir so weit weg wohnen...

Es gab leckerer und reichlich zu essen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Und ich habe das erstmal außerhalb Indiens nach 35 Jahren "ONIEN-MASALA" serviert bekommen. Vegetarische Gerichte: Sehr lecker Zugänglichkeit m. d. Rollstuhl: Ja, ist gegeben

Tolle Gegend, tolles Ambiente und das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker. Wir (2 P.) hatten jeweils Lamm und Ente scharf. Richtig gut gewürzt und die Schärfe ist angenehm. Das Lamm hat mich persönlich sehr beeindruckt, da ich eigentlich sehr skeptisch aufgrund des Geschmacks bin. Allerdings wurde ich hier eines Besseren belehrt - richtig zart und der Geschmack war einzigartig. Kann ich wirklich weiterempfehlen.

I love Indian food and always get some when im on a trip or a different city. I came here with no expectations. This was seriously the best Indian food i ever had. I hand the butter chicken and it was amazing. A perfectly sized portion and just a richness in flavour i have found nowhere else. I also had the garlic naan which was delicious. But my personal recommendation is to get the Mango Lassi when you visit (and you really should visit). It was just so creamy and refreshing. The atmosphere is also very nice. That night the restaurant was almost empty (which at the time i went wasn’t surprising). However there was no lack in atmosphere. They played cool Indian songs, that i surprisingly found very good and cute. So if you ever in Erfurt i would 100% recommend. 10/10 would definitely do again !!!.

Absolutely wonderful Indian restaurant. Delightful staff, great menu. Lamb cooked to perfection. Delicate flavours. Not too much salt. Bravo!.

The best Indian restaurant in Erfurt. the environment was the best. it's in the Old Town. The food was very delicious like an actual authentic Indian Test. Highly recommended.
