He completed his medical studies at the Universities of Essen and Freiburg, followed by a Practical Year in Velbert. In 1999, he began his medical and research activities at the Clinic for Haematology and Oncology at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. During this time, he also conducted research at the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, USA. He is a member of the Medical Association of Westfalen-Lippe (Münster) and the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians of Westfalen-Lippe (Dortmund). The practice team also includes Martina Leuner and Sabine Nitsche. Dr. Leuner creates a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere in which patients feel comfortable.
