“ Prof. Dr. Horst Sievert studied at the universities of Mainz and Frankfurt and subsequently completed further training in internal medicine, nephrology, intensive care medicine, and radiology. He later specialised in cardiology and angiology, becoming Chief Physician in the Department of Interventional Cardiology and Angiology at the Rotenburg Cardiovascular Center. Prof. Dr. Horst Sievert has delivered over 3,000 lectures worldwide and organised more than 300 events, including workshops, congresses, and conferences. He serves on the editorial board of several medical journals and has personally performed over 60,000 cardiovascular catheter procedures.
2026 Update: Prof. Dr. Horst Sievert has received numerous awards, like the Bleifeld Memorial Award, the PICS and AICS Lifetime Achievement award, the ICI Lifetime Achievement award and the TCT Master Operator award. He serves as a Professor of Internal Medicine/Cardiology at the University of Frankfurt and Honorary Professor at various foreign universities. He has been listed as a top doctors of the Focus Medical List since 2005. ”
