“ 2025 Update: Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtnis-Kirche was built by Franz Heinrich Schwechten between 1891 and 1906 in the Neoromantic architectural style. Egon Eiermann and Franz Schwechten are the architects who built the cathedral as a memorial to Kaiser Wilhelm. The total height of the cathedral is 233 feet, and the foundation of the church also preserves all the blue glass and the buildings. Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtnis-Kirche has around 3,300 Protestants around the Zoological Garden, between Tiergarten and Lietzenburger Straße. The church is also a war memorial, represented by historical illustrations of the church and the theme of reconciliation. Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtnis-Kirche offers a radio service on Christmas Day. The church and the memorial hall in the tower ruins are wheelchair accessible. They also have a shop in the memorial hall, offering a range of souvenirs, jewellery, and a wide selection of postcards. ”

BERLINER DOM REVIEWS

Der Dom ist für mich die schönste Kirche der Stadt, sowohl von außen als auch von innen. Ein schönes Fotomotiv, sowohl von der Wasserseite aus (z. B. bei einer Dampferfahrt) als auch vom Lustgarten aus. Ich durfte dort schon eine Hochzeit miterleben und es waren tolle Fotos auf den Stufen vor dem Hauptportal. Nach jahrelanger Renovierung rund um den Dom, ist jetzt der Lustgarten und auch das Berliner Schloss ein schönes historisches Zentrum. Ein absolutes Muss für alle Touristen. Unbedingt auch in den Dom gehen. Ein Highlight ist der Dom auch beim Festival of Lights, ein schönes Fotomotiv.

Eine wunderschöne Kirche. Hier ist es trotz vieler Menschen sehr ruhig. Man kann inne halten, nach dem ganzen Trubel Draußen. Der Eintritt kann mit der Berliner welcome card reduziert werden. Eintrittskarten sind an den Automaten zu ziehen.

Ist man Berlin sollte man den Dom gesehen haben. Von außen schon imposant, von inner sogar noch mehr finde ich. Würde das Ticket vorher kaufen.

Ein sehr schöner Ort und wunderbare Location um einige Werkstücke der Deutschen Meisterschaft der Floristik auszustellen.

Ein wirklich schönes Mahnmal und ein wirklich schönes Denkmal. Die Kirche ist wunderschön und immer wieder schön zu sehen.

Wundervoller Ort. Mit gratis Führung hinter die Kulissen...wir waren mehr als begeistert.

Ein wundervoller Ort voller Geschichte und Charme! Die St. Marienkirche verzaubert mit ihrer beeindruckenden Architektur und den prachtvollen Fresken. Man spürt förmlich die Jahrhunderte an Geschichte, die hier lebendig werden. Die friedliche Atmosphäre lädt zum Verweilen und Nachdenken ein – ein Muss für jeden Berlin-Besucher, der sich für Kultur und Geschichte begeistert.

Eine der ältesten und schönsten Kirchen Berlin. Von außen sieht sie sehr schlicht aus. Aber innen hat sie wunderschöne Schätze, z. B. der Altar und die Epigraphen. Ich war beeindruckt. Sie wird auch restauriert.

Eine sehr schöne evangelische Kirche mitten in Berlin. Wenn dort in der nähe ist, ist die Kirche auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Sehr schön von innen. Sehenswert
