3 Best Italian Restaurants in Cologne, Germany

I recently visited 60 Seconds to Napoli in Cologne, and it was an absolute delight! The concept of authentic Neapolitan pizza prepared in just 60 seconds at 485 degrees is executed flawlessly here. The dough, rested for up to 72 hours, was light, airy, and perfectly crisp on the outside—truly a standout. I tried their classic San Marzano tomato and Fior di Latte pizza, and the quality of the ingredients really shone through; fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The atmosphere at the Heumarkt location is vibrant yet cozy, with plenty of seating both inside and out. The staff were friendly and quick, making the experience even better. If you’re a pizza lover in Cologne, this spot is a must-visit—hands down some of the best Neapolitan pizza I’ve ever had!

Easily the best pizza in Cologne I've had so far! The atmosphere is cozy yet stylish—great designer vibe. Our waitress was super friendly and handled our special request to split the two pizzas we ordered. (Thanks Viki!) Highly recommend!

Essen war hervorragend, Bedienung aufmerksam und zügig. Reserviert, eigentlich ein guter Tisch. Doch die Hintergrund Musik war zeitweilig so laut, schrill, aufdringlich, dass eine Unterhaltung nur sehr schwer möglich war. Möglicherweise meine/unsere Empfindlichkeit, bisher immer nur draußen gesessen und sehr genossen.

Es war wunderbar an diesem Montag Abend im Restaurant, mit unseren Freunden zu genießen . Gutes Essen und Trinken. Schöne Atmosphäre und Freundlichkeit

Super freundlicher Service und gute, sowie schnelle Küche – selbst zu Randzeiten am Nachmittag. Das Essen wie immer lecker. Mein Tipp: BBQ Chicken Pizza.

Little Nonna has become a must-visit on my Cologne trips. We started with the Calamari Fritti, Arancino Siciliano, and Green ‘n’ Red on Bread – all fresh and flavorful. From the summer specials, the Ravioli Blue Woods was my absolute favorite, truly delicious and memorable. The cocktails are excellent – I had a perfectly mixed Negroni – and the Tiramisu was a nice way to end the meal. What I especially love here is the cozy atmosphere, the great ambiance, and the lively crowd of guests, which make the experience even more enjoyable. Attentive service and consistently high quality make this place a real gem.

This was the best Italian I've ever had. Not just in Cologne/Germany, but the best Italian I've had in my entire life (and I've been to Italy 4-5 times already). Went for the "Bolo Romance" as I wanted to stay classic/safe with pasta bolognese choice but it ended being much more than just that... Flavorful, savory delish! Shout-out to the kind Spanish waiter working there with whom I had a nice quick chit-chat :)

I really needed a break of life and diner at littleNONNA delivered. A decent whiskey sour, a delicious pasta and - most of all - the most considerate service. When I was finished eating, I was full of joy again.
