“ LWL-Museum Zeche Zollern has exhibitions that show the world of harsh conditions by using the life stories of men and women to explain it. In the LWL-Museum Zeche Zollern, the most essential object in the fight for preservation was the machine hall, which today features an impressive Art Nouveau portal and is an icon of industrial culture. The conservation of the flagship building, made of steel and glass in 1969, saved the entire complex and marked the beginning of industrial monument preservation in Germany. “ 2025 Update: Florianturm is an observation and television tower constructed in 1959 for the Federal Garden Show in Westfalenpark. The tower's current height, including the antenna system, is approximately 209 meters and offers an exceptional panoramic view of the park and the city of Dortmund from its observation deck. The tower is built using an industrial construction method known as a concrete chimney. Florianturm features a two-story section at 130.60 meters, supported by a reinforced concrete tube that tapers conically upwards to a height of 129.75 meters, with a decreasing wall thickness. A visit to the Florianturm is essential for anyone visiting Dortmund and remains a popular attraction for residents. The name “Florian” comes from a poster for the Federal Garden Show. The people in Dortmund began calling the tower “Florian,” and the name is still used today. ”

“ 2025 Update: Industriedenkmal Kokerei Hansa was constructed between 1927 and 1928 as a large coking plant. This facility was built to replace the outdated small coking plants of the Hansa, Westhausen, and Germania mines located northwest of Dortmund. The Industrial Monument Preservation and Historical Culture Foundation was established by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and RAG Aktiengesellschaft as an independent operational foundation under private law. Visitors can explore the entire facility through guided tours led by former employees and skilled companions. The last expansion of the plant occurred in 1968 with the addition of Battery 0, which included 30 ovens. They offered services for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users. The entire route is accessible for wheelchair users without steps. Public toilet for people with disabilities on the ground floor. There is a general parking area. One parking space is designated for people with disabilities. ”

LWL-MUSEUM ZECHE ZOLLERN REVIEWS

Die Zeche Zollern ist die schönste Zeche in ganz Deutschland. Die Architektur ist einfach nur schön. Es gibt viel interessantes zu sehen. Auch eine neue Ausstellung gibt's die zum Nachdenken einlädt. Ein sehr schönes, gemütliches Restaurant "Pferdestall" lädt zum Verweilen ein. Leckeres Essen, Kuchen, Kaffee/Tee, Bier und vieles andere. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Zählt zu einer der schönsten ehemaligen Zechen im Ruhrgebiet oder auch in Deutschland. Viele Epochen der Baukunst wurden hier vereint. Unbedingt ein Besuch wert! Auch für Kinder toll, es gibt einen schönen Spielplatz und für später auch eine ansprechende Gastronomie.

Interessantes Museum über die Arbeit unter Tage. Vom Förderturm hat man einen guten Ausblick über das gesamte Gelände. Sehr informativ. Ideal für einen Tagesausflug lohnt sich.

FLORIANTURM REVIEWS

Es ist wirklich die schönste Zeche die ich bislang gesehen habe. Die Jugendstilakzente geben den Industriegebäuden Charme. Es muss früher toll ausgesehen haben. Auch die Maschinenhalle ist wirklich das Herzstück. Wer sich für Kumpel und Kohle interessiert und eintauchen will in die Bergmannsgeschichte sollte hierher kommen. Es ist mit so viel Liebe alles aufgebaut und erklärt. Hier werden auch viele Hochzeiten gefeiert. Als wir da waren waren es 3. Da wir nicht alles geschafft haben kommen wir wieder. Im Pferdestall, dem Restaurant auf dem Gelände kann man lecker essen.

Interessantes Museum über die Arbeit unter Tage. Vom Förderturm hat man einen guten Ausblick über das gesamte Gelände. Sehr informativ. Ideal für einen Tagesausflug lohnt sich.

Fantastisch. Eine richtig schöne Zeche und vor allem alles genau erklärt. Da wird Glück auf zum Erlebnis.

INDUSTRIEDENKMAL KOKEREI HANSA REVIEWS

War das erste mal in der Kokerei Hansa und war positiv überrascht. Zuerst einmal ist der Eintritt kostenlos. Man kann jedoch für 5€ eine Führung buchen. Momentan wird noch viel instand gesetzt bzw gehalten daher sind momentan Baustellen auf dem Gelände. Tut dem ganzen aber keine Abbruch. Es gibt trotzdem viel zu erkunden und zu sehen. Meiner Meinung nach lohnt sich ein Besuch definitiv. Werde nochmals wiederkommen wenn alles fertig ist.

Super spannede Führung mit anschliessendem Essen in deren Restaurant, ein sehr lohnenswerter Besuch für Industrie Enthusiasten und geschichts Fanatiker.

Schön erhaltenes Industriedenkmal, die Führung ist lohnenswert.
