“Hohensyburg is a historical and well-known place in Dortmund. The mountain, also known as Syburg, represents the remains of a hilltop castle situated approximately 245 meters above sea level. This location has served as a natural theater and, since 1985, has been the site of the Hohensyburg casino. The intricately designed area shows the mountain's shadow from the south, featuring the Kaiser Wilhelm monument. The mountain's steep slope is sorrounded by standstone bricks, with three structures that are originally designed to fortify the main castle. Many visitors to the mountain now commence their journey from the parking lot of the Hohensyburg casino, others prefer the western edge for walking.”
