“Peterskirche is the oldest traditional church with an architectural height of 91 metres. The cathedral is also the city's historic center. St. Peter has an additional tower with two pointed helmets and a city clock that is situated between the two topped western towers. Peterskirche ensures a Gothic and Baroque architectural style. Erwin Schleich, Rudolf Esterer, Ignaz Anton Gunetzrhainer, and Isaac Bader are the architects of the cathedral. The building was further expanded during 1220-1230 AD. Hermenegild Peiker completed the renovation of the grand ceiling fresco in the nave in 2000, which marks a significant milestone.
