“ 2025 Update: Veddeler Fischgaststätte provides fried fish with potato salad, fries, and local beer. Christian owns the restaurant. The chefs are Lutz and Kumar. The restaurant interior looks rustic, old and comfortable. Veddeler Fischgaststätte staff are always well-attended; people come together at the tables, and the service is quick and friendly. There are seven unadorned tables and a regular table in the guest room. The restaurant offers seating for up to 45 guests. The restaurant only makes fried fish. They offer a small portion of five pieces of fish fillet, including a side dish. Veddeler Fischgaststätte offers outdoor seating and allows dogs. For table reservations, it’s best to contact them a few days in advance to ensure your requests can be accommodated. ”

Nach unzähligen Jahren schafften wir es dieses tolle Lokal zu besuchen. Wir merken was wir lange verpasst haben. Schnelle Bedienung, leckeres Essen und Freundschaftspreise. Reservierung ist sinnvoll.

Extra aus der Schweiz angereist um dieses Lokal zu Besuchen. Und jede Minute Weg hat sich gelohnt. Die Atmosphäre ist urchig und einfach Kult. Die Speisekarte ist klein aber fein. Das Fischfilet das ich bestellt habe war Göttlich. Ich hatte noch nie so ein saftigen fritierten Fisch. Ein MUSS wenn man im Hamburg ist.

Ich bin begeistert! Frischer knuspriger Backfisch, hausgemachter Kartoffelsalat und dazu ein knackiger Gurkensalat und eine leckere Remouladensauce. Wir waren das erste Mal hier, aber werden mit Sicherheit erneut vorbeikommen.

Fantastisch leckere Fish&Chips. Gegrillter Fisch ist auch top! Schabi ist einfach ein Klassiker.2006 war ich zum ersten Mal dort und immer wenn ich in Hamburg bin esse ich dort.

Absolute Empfehlung wenn man Fisch mag! Top Qualität auch wenn nur ein kleiner Imbiss aber hier zählt das Essen und das war MEGA! Gerne wieder.

Lange nicht mehr so guten und frischen Fisch gegessen! Freundlicher Service, faire Preise und authentisches Flair.

Nur für Leute, die Fisch mögen. Ich gehöre dazu und war begeistert. Ich hatte grüne Heringe (3 Stück) und leckeren Kartoffelsalat. Der Restaurantbereich ist ausreichend belüftet. Man riecht hinterher nicht nach Bratfisch. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Mittagstisch bei Daniel Wischer, Steinstraße 15, wie gewohnt sehr leckerer Fisch, alle Beilagen aus eigener Küche. Sehr gemütliches Ambiente, noch aus der Zeit in der meine Mutter mit mir nach einem Einkaufsbummel in der Innenstadt immer zum Abschluss zum Fischessen ging. Damals hieß die Bestellung immer „Goldbarsch, Kartoffelsalat und Faßbrause“.

Eine klassische Fischbratküche mit dem Flair aus alten Tagen. Der Fisch ist frisch gebraten, die Portionen groß und der Fisch hat eine gute Qualität, auch die Beilagen sind perfekt, der gute Service rundet alles gut ab. Die Küche ist nichts für die schlanke Linie aber definitiv ein Hamburger Original und jeden Besuch wert. Preis Leistung sind zudem mehr als fair.
