“ 2025 Update: Boberger Niederung is a 350-hectare protected area established in 1991, which includes the natural monuments Boberger Düne and Achtermoor. The trail is located in the Hamburg districts of Billwerder and Lohbrügge. The circular route is 5.8 kilometres long, and takes about 1 hour and 11 minutes to complete. The area contains four nature information trails: Dune Trail, Moorweg, Terrace Path, and Wiesenweg. Boberger Niederung is one of Hamburg’s most species-rich nature reserves, with wildlife such as beetles and lizards found in the dunes and heath. The route is accessible throughout the year. Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a leash.”
