The park features a wide variety of plant species, organised into sections with medicinal herbs, Japanese gardens, and flower displays. Its focal point is equally appealing to both locals and visitors to the Hanseatic city due to its diversity and central location. The park hosts water-and-light concerts, public theatre, and musical performances, while a playground in the southern area provides enjoyment for visitors of all ages.
