Dellbrücker Heide
Dellbrücker Heide is a 39-hectare nature reserve located in the north of the Dellbrück district of Cologne. It consists of forest trails, heathland and a lake in a sanctuary with small animals and bird species and has a well-developed hiking trail that offers a green journey through time. The Dellbrücker Heide is part of the Bergische Heideterrasse, which today is one of the most species-rich natural areas in North Rhine-Westphalia. The Dellbrücker Heide includes federally endangered species such as the blue-winged grasshopper, the sand lizard, the rust bandage butterfly and habitats such as silver grass corridors.
