Dellbrücker Heide spans 39 hectares and serves as a nature reserve in the northern region of Cologne's Dellbrück district. Comprising forest paths, heathlands, and a lake, this sanctuary hosts diverse small animal and bird species. Dellbrücker Heide boasts a well-established hiking trail that offers a verdant journey through time. As a segment of the Bergische Heideterrasse, the Dellbrücker Heide is one of North Rhine-Westphalia's most species-rich natural areas. Notably, it shelters federally endangered species like the blue-winged grasshopper, sand lizard, rust bandage butterfly and habitats like silver grass corridors.
