“ Königsforst has a network of paths, including part of the Way of St. James. Hikers can enjoy views of the forest's rich diversity along the circular trail. The forest is part of the Königsforst nature reserve, which spans Cologne and Rhein-Berg. The trail spans 2519 hectares east of Cologne, forming part of the Bergische Heideterrasse segment. The 18.8-km loop trail takes an average of 4 hours and 40 minutes to complete. This path begins at the southwestern entrance of the forest and leads to Rathausen-Forsbachweg. The forest is designated as a bird protection area and Flora-Fauna-Habitat (FFH) area. Immer wieder einen Spaziergang wert. Leider sind am Wochenende viele unterwegs die mit Corona ganz offensichtlich nichts am Hut haben. Meine Frau und ich sind da jedesmal die einzigen die hintereinander gehen wenn uns jemand entgegen kommt. Selbst 3 Personen gehen unbeirrt nebeneinander weiter und schauen uns an als ob wir nicht alle Tassen im Schrank haben. Aber wie gesagt.... trotz der ganzen Dumpfbacken.... ein Spaziergang wert.

Mit dem Fahrrad ist es absolut kein Problem an den See zu kommen. Man hat genügend Möglichkeiten, sich zurück zu ziehen um zu entspannen und ungestört seine Zeit zu genießen. Mit dem Auto wird es eine kleine Qual einen Parkplatz zu finden.

Schönes Naturschutzgebiet welches von den Spaziergängern auch wirklich nicht verschmutzt wird. Alle benutzen die freigegebenen Wege & Hundebesitzer führen ihre Lieblinge an der Leine. Hier sieht man wirklich Natur von ihrer schönsten Seite!

WORRINGER BRUCH REVIEWS

Sehr empfehlenswert für längere Wanderungen. Eine der Routen (Rundweg) dauert z.B. ca. 4 Stunden und geht über Felder und Wald. Man kann bequem an der S-Bahn Haltestelle "Köln-Worringen" parken und dort starten. Oder mit der S-Bahn ankommen und dort beginnen.

Natur pur, ideal zum Spazieren und Relaxen. Bei Glück sieht man Rehe, Greifvögel, Fuchs und Hase etc. Auch kann ich NachtWanderung empfehlen !!! Für Hunde gilt LeinenPflicht; was ich auch richtig finde !!!

Unser Hobby das Geo-Caching hat uns in diese schöne Gegend geschickt. Es war eine tolle Runde mit vielen Eindrücken. Hier ist die Welt noch in Ordnung.

KÖNIGSFORST REVIEWS

Sehr schön großes Waldgebiet und man kann es gut mit der Straßenbahn erreichen. Leider war ich heute nur kurz um den See gegangen, hatte mich schon vorher über die Schüsse gewundert. (Jagdzeit) Dann ein anderes mal mit mehr Ruhe und Sicherheit.

Wunderschönes großes Waldgebiet mit super ausgebauten Wegen, die man auch nicht verlassen sollte um die Natur nicht unnötig zu belasten. Die Flora ist wunderbar und parken lässt es sich gegenüber auf dem Parkplatz für den Wildpark.

Sehr schöner ruhiger Wald sobald man etwas Abstand zur Autobahn gewonnen hat. Viele kleine Parkmöglichkeiten entlang der Autobahn. Höchster "Berg" Köln.
