HOHENZOLLERNBRÜCKE
“Hohenzollernbrücke is a popular bridge and tourist attraction in Cologne. The bridge was constructed between 1907 and 1911. It replaced the Cathedral Bridge, which could no longer cope with the demands of the ever-increasing rail traffic. The bridge, after construction, comprised three truss arch bridges arranged alongside each other, each featuring three arches. Hohenzollernbrücke serves as a crucial juncture in both the German and European railway networks. It is alongside the neighbouring central train station, forming an integral part of Cologne's cityscape. Hohenzollernbrücke was designated a protected monument on August 5, 1997.”
